COMICS

Classic

Interestingly Strange Version 1 is a gag comic strip created by Syp. It featured no central characters or setting. It is the first iteration of Interestingly Strange, lasted 10 strips, and is not canonical to what came after it. The basic concept of no backgrounds, simpler art, and little to no central characters was reimagined into Brunette and later Being Gerboni.

IS

Interestingly Strange is a comedy workplace comic series created by Syp and developed with iDs. It has been ongoing since 2015. There are over 100 “episodes” as of 2022. It centers on two retail employees with opposing views toward their workplace. It is divided into two eras, Deboot and Redux, the latter featuring an overarching storyline told across six extended-length episodes that connects it to the narrative of WRD.

WRD

WRD is a comedy adventure comic series created by Syp. It started in 2017 and concluded in 2018. It centers on three friends as they come across a magical skull. It consists of six episodes that make up its first season, The Stolen Skull. WRD features it’s own slightly different art style than Interestingly Strange, opting for full eyes instead of black ovals. A second storyline was planned, but never came into fruition.
